Facade design

Veranda
Before I'm going to bring up the facade, there is a feature that i want to talk about. It is a corridor that acts like a buffer separates outdoor and indoor, (i want it to be semi-outdoor like veranda in Tropical house). For some buildings such as Library and Museum+exhibition hall which are needed to be in A/C, they'd better have glass panels right behind the screen facade.

Material
Because it is a civic building for film industry, so i want materials that give a sense of futuristic or technology. I think of metal sheet, different kind of metal sheets (type, thickness, void).

Horizontal element

Because the lifted up buildings lie on horizontal axis, pattern is one of the way to emphasize it. So i think about facade design that mix different metal sheets as well.

Then I think I want to stick with the idea of diff. metal strips weaving up and down a little bit creating a pattern, similar to this one below.

It looks great, not as much random as the ones above (also easier to do so!)
 Last question:
For Entech, I'm doing 1:100 model, which is in same scale for your detail model requirement. I'm cutting the section as shown in that 30x30x30 cm red box.

The question is; can i reuse the entech's model for studio as well? or i do need to do the full size of this unit? (then my detail model will be 75 x 40 cm long. that's pretty big, isn't it!?)
